WILL JAMES GRANT'S "ALBATROSS" FLY IN JUNE?

April 9 , 2002

Is there life after 'My Thrawn Glory'? Yes is the answer, according to James Grant's new label, Vertical Records, which is about to release a new album by the former Love and Money frontman. 'I Shot The Albatross' (a clear reference to Coleridge's 'The Rime Of The Ancient Mariner') "consists of poetry set to music - including works by Helen Adam, William Blake, Charles Bukowski, ee cummings, William Soutar, Edwin Muir and many more. It was part funded by the Scottish Arts Council". The album, whose availabilty outside of the UK is still uncertain, is likely to be released in June.
