It
might as well be that things will substantially remain unchanged, but
still it is some kind of a defeat for the music industry (or whatever
you want to call it). The Divine Comedy, one of the most underrated and
fine-music-producing acts, are said to be about to disband. This is what
NME.com reports today, adding that the band will nevertheless continue
its tour whose final date is at the Belfast Mandela Hall on November 22.
Neil Hannon, the band's leader and the only effective permanent member
and songwriter, will keep being signed to Parlophone, which means he will
still be writing and releasing records when the others are gone. It is
still unclear why the band came to this decision and what the other members
of the band have decided to do.
As
a conclusion, if you haven't done it already, please go out and buy a
copy of The Divine Comedy's latest release, 'Regeneration'. You would
most definitely find out why the group is labelled as 'underrated'.
