His latest work is the soundtrack for Baz Luhrmann's movie "Moulin Rouge" starring Nicole Kidman and Ewan MacGregor which will be premiered at the Cannes Film Festival this week. This is the second time that Craig has worked with the Australian director, the first when he co-wrote the original score for Romeo + Juliet which single-handedly reinvented Shakespeare to the MTV generation. The Australian director, also known for the hugely successful "Ballroom Dancing" described "Moulin Rouge" as "the Rocky Horror Show meets Titanic". The "Moulin Rouge" soundtrack features musical arrangements by Craig Armstrong on interesting collaborations and vocals from the stars of the movie as well as other various artistes. In addition, he is responsible for 70 minutes worth of original score for the movie that links the songs. A full track
